Inspection Service
Our inspection service includes all manufacturers
recommended preventive maintenance. We'll perform a complete visual and
operational test of all mechanical and electrical components. While the covers
are off, we'll clean the contactors, top off the oil levels, adjust the brakes
and limit switches, and make sure all wiring is tight. We offer die-penetrant
testing of hooks and other load bearing components as well as load testing and
planned engineered lifts.
Field Service
Our vehicles are stocked with the most commonly used parts.
Most of the time, this inventory will allow us to make a full repair in only
one visit rather than leaving your crane out of service while waiting for parts
to arrive.
Our technicians have extensive experience repairing
various types of electrical apparatus. We also have the ability to perform
vibration analysis for those hard-to-find problems within your gearboxes and
motors.
Shop
Service
We inspect each
repair job in detail so we know in advance if repairs are economical to
perform. The repair is quoted before we proceed, where practicable. We practice
stringent adherence to industry's most demanding specifications. Upon
completion of each repair, the equipment is load tested to 125% of rated load
as specified by OSHA and ANSI standards. To add the finishing touch, we'll
return your equipment looking like it did when it first arrived at your
facility with all new paint and decals.
Almost all repairs
will be made within our building. This eliminates added cost and down time that
is experienced when other sources are involved. Motor rewinds, bearing
replacement, and most machine work will be done in our shop.
Modernization
We have numerous methods available to upgrade your crane
systems to operate more efficiently. We can give you more control of your
apparatus by installing variable speed drives or soft-starts. We can make the
system safer by installing collision avoidance systems, load limit switches,
horns, lights, or other devices as your application directs. If your operators
need to be able to stand farther from the load, we can install a pushbutton
station that operated independently of the hoist/trolley motion or a radio
control for the most state-of-the-art upgrade.
OSHA
Compliance
Let us take away your worries about OSHA compliance. Leave
it to us to ensure that your cranes meet the latest guidelines. We stay up to
date on all changes regarding your overhead material lifting equipment so our
customers have only one phone call to make if any questions ever arise. We also
keep computerized records of inspections so they’re available at moments notice
if you ever need a copy quickly.
